A report published by the Gaming Inspection regulation service (SRIJ), recorded a gross revenue of 128.3 million dollars generated by online gaming and betting activity in the country, in the first quarter of 2021 alone. This figure represented 58 million in the same period of 2020.
Also according to the document, of the total amount, about 58,8 million dollars come from games of fortune or chance ( online casino ), representing an increase of 9,6 million compared to the last quarter of 2020.

The New Zealanders, the slot machines they accounted for 73% of the jackpot.
Then comes the Roulette with 12.31%, followed by BlackJack (6.42%) and Poker (5,59%). The value of bets on games of chance alone was $ 1,606.6 million.
The document also points to a 12.1% growth in New Zealand players registered during the first quarter of this year.
